2026 ANZCham Business Awards - Winning Company Profiles
The Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (ANZCham Taiwan) held the 2026 ANZCham Business Awards) on the evening of 10 September 2026 at 7:00 PM, at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei. First established in 2005, these awards recognise and celebrate companies and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the trilateral relationship between Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.

Six awards were presented this year, recognising outstanding achievements across a range of industries. This year's winners are:
Australia-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – Avance Clinical (Avance Clinical Taiwan)
Avance Clinical Taiwan has strengthened Australia–Taiwan cooperation in biotechnology and clinical research by helping numerous Taiwanese biotech companies expand their clinical development into Australia. In one case, its hands-on support improved site engagement, accelerated patient recruitment and directly led to another clinical study being awarded. Through strong client relationships and repeat business, Avance Clinical Taiwan is helping Taiwanese biotech companies access Australia's clinical research ecosystem while deepening bilateral commercial and scientific ties.
Australia-Taiwan Partnership Award – Food Go Enterprise (Foodgo i beef)
Food Go has played a major role in growing the premium Australian beef market in Taiwan and is recognised as Taiwan's largest importer of Australian Wagyu. Its market development has helped expand the use and visibility of premium Australian beef across Taiwan's restaurant sector. Food Go is now expanding into Australia through red-meat distribution, restaurants and butcher shops, further deepening the Australia–Taiwan agri-food relationship.
New Zealand-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – Griffin's Snacks
Griffins Foods has become one of New Zealand's strongest recent growth stories in Taiwan. In just three years, Taiwan has grown into Griffins' largest market in Asia, with ETA Ripples generating more than NZD 2 million in sales in 12 months. Its exclusive partnership with 7-Eleven Taiwan's 7,000-plus stores has created a strong platform for further expansion and substantial New Zealand–Taiwan trade growth.
New Zealand-Taiwan Partnership Award – Island Voice Geothermal Consulting
Established only in June 2025, Island Voice Geothermal has quickly become an important bridge between Taiwan's growing geothermal sector and New Zealand expertise. IVG has connected companies including ESNZ, JRG, MTL and MB Century with Taiwanese developers, research organisations and government-led opportunities. Through NZTE-led initiatives, it is helping turn technical exchange into practical commercial cooperation and stronger bilateral renewable-energy ties.
Queensland-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – V Resource
V-Resource is a standout example of innovation and advanced manufacturing in Queensland. As Queensland's first and only lead-acid battery recycler, it processes around 5,000 batteries a day and uses patented technology that reduces sulphur content in recovered lead by up to 90 percent. The company is also creating skilled jobs, developing Taiwanese talent in Queensland and strengthening long-term Australia–Taiwan business links.
New South Wales-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – GalaVerse
Galaverse is strengthening New South Wales–Taiwan links in strategically important fields including semiconductors, satellite communications, drones, AI and advanced wireless systems. It was recognised through Taiwan's 2024 NSTC Chip-based Industrial Innovation Program and has showcased its technology through Investment NSW-supported programs at Computex, InnoVEX and SEMICON. These engagements have generated interest from customers, partners and investors and created new opportunities for bilateral technology and investment cooperation.

Australia-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – Avance Clinical (Avance Clinical Taiwan)

New Zealand-Taiwan Partnership Award – Island Voice Geothermal Consulting
Island Voice Geothermal Consulting Co., Ltd. (IVG) is a Taipei-based consultancy working to bring Taiwan's geothermal resources into commercial production. The company name reflects its founding idea: the island's geology, ecology and communities each speak a language of their own, and IVG's work is to translate complex science into terms that developers, regulators and the public can act on.
IVG's defining strength is partnership between Taiwan and New Zealand. It brings New Zealand geothermal expertise, from drilling and well services to reservoir consulting, university research and geoscience software, to Taiwanese project owners including the national energy utility and private developers. In practice that means matching capability to opportunity and then removing what usually blocks it: bilingual tender and contract documentation, joint bid structures, qualification and certification issues, and the practicalities of foreign firms entering Taiwan's public procurement system.
The company works across the development chain: surface exploration, resource assessment and reservoir modelling, well and casing design, well testing, and drilling rig evaluation, alongside policy research on permitting, incentive design, and indigenous consultation and consent.

Queensland-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – V Resource
V Resource is an environmental technology and resource recovery company based in Queensland, Australia, specialising in the recovery and recycling of hazardous waste. The company began with lead-acid battery recycling, recovering lead-bearing materials and returning them to productive use within regional and international supply chains.
Building on this operational foundation, V Resource plans to develop an integrated circular economy precinct incorporating industrial wastewater treatment, end-of-life solar panel recovery and lithium battery recycling. The objective is to create a connected industrial ecosystem in which recovered materials, water and process by-products can be reused across different operations. The planned use of on-site renewable energy will further reduce reliance on conventional energy and lower carbon emissions.
V Resource's vision is to transform environmental liabilities into commercially valuable resources. Starting in Queensland, the company aims to establish a practical, scalable and replicable model that can be progressively expanded across Australia and New Zealand, creating long-term environmental, industrial and economic value.
New South Wales-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – GalaVerse
