Dear Members,

It is an honour to address you for the first time as the new Chairman of the Australia and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan.  I am deeply grateful for the trust and support you have extended to me and to all our board members and supervisors, and I look forward to serving our community with dedication and purpose.

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all our members.  Your ongoing engagement, commitment and contributions are the driving forces behind the Chamber’s continued success.  Everything we achieve is possible only because of your active participation and shared belief in our mission.

I would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Australia Office, Austrade, New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office, New Zealand Trade Development Centre, Trade and Investment Queensland, and Investment NSW for their unconditional support.  Their collaboration and assistance have been invaluable to the Chamber’s work, and we are fortunate to continue this strong partnership.

Let’s not forget our sponsors.  Your generous support enables us to deliver high‑quality programs, expand our activities, and provide greater value to our members.  We deeply appreciate your commitment to the Chamber and to the broader business community.

I also want to pay special tribute to our former Chairman, Dr. Jeffrey Chen.  Under his leadership, the Chamber strengthened its foundations, expanded its influence, and navigated an evolving business landscape with clarity and purpose.  We are deeply appreciative of his contributions.

Looking ahead, we will be organising more business‑focused events in the coming year to strengthen commercial exchanges, promote strategic collaboration, and create new opportunities for our members.  These initiatives will aim to bring our community closer together and foster meaningful dialogue across industries.

At the same time, I will be placing strong emphasis on enhancing the overall member experience.  Our goal is to ensure that every member feels connected, supported, and empowered through the Chamber – whether through improved communication, more engaging programs, or new platforms for interaction.
