ABOUT US

The Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (ANZCham Taipei) is the peak body for Australian and New Zealand business in Taiwan. ANZCham Taipei has been operating in some form since 1991 and our mission is to promote the closest possible relationship between Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan by providing mechanisms for business networking, introductions, information sharing and social contacts. Membership is business led but embraces groups or individuals with government, education and social links to New Zealand and Australia.

JOB SUMMARY

The role is twofold involving both Marketing/Events and Administration. The candidate will manage all aspects of ANZCham Taipei’s administration to ensure that the Chamber is running smoothly. While also working closely with the Executive Director to organise and execute Chamber events and marketing efforts.

We are looking for an organised and highly motivated candidate who can work independently and proactively to execute tasks. A strong connection with Australia and/or New Zealand is highly desirable.

THE ROLE

Responsible for Chamber administration including:

  • maintaining Chamber registrations with Government authorities,

  • maintaining the membership database; and,

  • ensuring that accurate financial records are kept - this will be done in collaboration with our accountant.

Assist the Executive Director with marketing/event planning including:

  • scheduling, budget, speaker lineups, content, venue contracts, AV, production, and on-the-day delivery,

  • project manage events including, but not limited to, Young Professional Program and Sundowners; and,

  • maintaining the Chamber’s online marketing presence (website, social media, Line).

Other activities as directed including but not limited to:

  • Manage any interns that are interning with the Chamber.

  • Pursue collaboration between ANZCham Taipei and our key stakeholders.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Native written and spoken Mandarin.

  • Good written and spoken English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Australian or New Zealand alumni is desirable but not mandatory).

  • Applicants must be able to legally work in Taiwan.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Relevant administrative experience.

  • Relevant event/project management experience.

  • Relevant marketing experience.

  • Photo/Video editing skills.

  • Graphic design skills (e.g. poster, flyer etc.).

  • Experience in website design and using WiX.

  • A strong connection to Australia and/or New Zealand.
